Day 31...Disneyland!

Today was great. I worked out this morning and I went to Disneyland with my friends and family!  Amusement parks are always tiring!  Today was a huge cheat day lol, they have these candy apples that are to die for,  I couldn't resist lol!


Disneyland is really the happiest place on earth! !!

Day 29 & 30

Hello everyone,  I know you've missed me lol! Let me catch you up....

Day 29 was Memorial Day but that doesn't stop my flow. I went to the gym with my girl, my sis,  Jaguar. ...YES THAT'S HER REAL NAME LOL AND I ran into my Kayden, this dude can talk your ear off lol!

Day 30!!!



That's right I've reached my 30th day! I'm proud of myself. I've lost pounds, lost inches and I feel great! So I celebrated with a 5 hour workout lol with my girls Courtney and Jaguar. Nutts right????? I had all the energy in the world lol

Day 27, chill day

Today was a pretty chill day. I just worked out with my new workout partner,  Courtney!  She has decided to start a 30 day weight loss challenge! 


Today we did some cardio!

15 MINS step aerobics station
15 MINS recumbent bike
15 MINS on the Arc trainer

Get a workout buddy....the workout goes by quickly, they keep you going, and it's fun!

Day 26, the colonics party

Todayyyyyyy I went a got a colonics performed with my mommy. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever but u never know how much waiste you have built up! Everyone should go get one!

Today my exercise was a tad bit different,  all my girls decided to have a sleep over!  We danced the night away and it was hot aways heck so I definitely broke a sweat!

Working out doesn't have to be boring, check us out!

Day 25, step aerobics

Working out with my ace was fun. Workout partners are always great especially when you are competitive! This is one of my closest friends,  Davonte. Real solid dude! We beasted some step aerobics,  Intense but it gets the sweat going!!!


I as you all know,  I'm a vegan before 6pm ....sooooo take a look at what I juiced after my workout. It was definitely delicious!

Day 23, Super Energetic Day!

Today was one of my best days, I swear! I had sooooooooo much energy! I woke up this morning and downed my infused water, if you don't know the benefits of lemon, cucumber,  and mint infused water. ....check it out!


Today I worked out with my girl Virna....we enjoyed this nice Cali weather by going on a 1 hour bike ride at the beach!



It is crazy knowing that I had all this super energy given the fact that I only had natural fruit and vegetables drinks this morning. Detox water and my bode shake definitely came in handy. 

For dinner I had two tacos and a huge kale salad. ...don't judge me on the tacos lol it was taco Tuesday and I refuse to deprive myself from the tasty foods lol. I would usually get 4 lol lol...but moderation IS KEY!

So like I mentioned before, I had all this crazy energy so I decided to hit the gym with my girl Olivia tonight. We got some major cardio and core workouts in!!!!

Day 22, VEGAN B4 6PM

Havent blogged in 3 days but dont worry ive still been on it, ive just been too busy to blog!

Going into my 4th week and it's time to switch it up!!!!
Vegan
Before
6:00PM
no meat, no dairy. ...ONLY Fruits, veggies,  Bode shake (w/almond milk) and infused water ALL DAY UNTIL 6PM! Have a balanced meal after 6pm!
I woke up this morning, made a bode shake, all my juices for the day, and my infused water!
Every morning I will have 20 Oz of lemon, cucumber, and mint infused water.....it helps +with detoxification!

Looks yummy right lol.....

I've decided to change my workout routine as well.....something a little more challenging! 

Two workout sessions a day for the next 21 days...no off days!



Workout #1

5 min warm up (Arc Trainer)
25 min intervals (Arc Trainer)
3 sets bicep curls
3 sets lateral pulldowns
3 sets dumbbell front raises
3 sets tricep extensions
3 sets of push ups (not girly!)

Each set = 15 rep




Workout #2 

CARDIOOOOO

15 mins Arc Trainer
15 mins elliptical machine
15 stationary bike
100 sit ups
3 sets of 15 sec planks

Day 18, What motivates me?

What keeps me motivated? ??

I've always been a beautiful girl, but never in my life have I been fit! Apart of me wants to know how life would be as a not so chubby girl lol.

My friends help motivate me as well. Every Monday I send a mass text message to my friends letting them know how many pounds I'm down. It keeps me going to know they are rooting for me.

The fact that I know I am becoming healthier motivates me as well. Knowing that I will be around longer motivates me, knowing that as long as I keep this up I will be able to have children. Cysts were forming on my ovaries due to having too many fat cells, I've had multiple trips to the hospital so that doctors can monitor my cysts. If my cysts continued to grow, they would have to remove them and that could mean damage to or removal of one of my ovaries which meant it would be harder for me to conceive!  So that's what motivates me, I'm becoming healthy....it is more than motivating,  it's exciting! !!!!

Well enough of that, just know I'm definitely motivated lol

Today I worked out with an old friend Of mines, Demetre!  He had me doing buff people stuff lol. But I don't want anything modified for me, I'M A CHAMP!


I definitely felt the need to go hard while working with him!

Day 18 was a success!

Day 17, Run For It

Today it was hot as heck in Los Angeles....I went to Aviation track with Akayza and Kamyron and nearly passed out lol. However I loved working out with them because I was pushed to my potential.  I have found that if you want to be fit, you must do what fit people do! 

Running with those two I realized that I couldn't be a weeny lol.

I made sure that I stayed hydrated because that heat was no joke. Not to mention that drinking water is very important and helps with a numerous amount of things!  So, DRINK UP!

After my workout, Akayza and I enjoyed a filling lunch! Turkey burgers and kale salad!!!


Day 16

Today was pretty awesome but pretty emotional. Lately I've been dealing with some personal issues. ....and I realized that I just really need to get away!!!! So stay tuned a change of scenary might be happening soon.
This morning I had a classic PB & J sandwich made with sandwich thins and sugar free jelly. Delicious!

After that, I went to the gym...got some cardio in and today was arm day so I worked on those bad boys lol


AND THEN THE DRAMA HAPPENED!!!!
I realized that during this time in my life I have been in search of a happier me, a stress free me, a well rounded me, and a GOD Fearing me.....I have been searching so hard that I have chosen to be free from anything or anyone who bring me down mentally. I've built up an isolation room, negativity isn't welcomed! I'm on the road to being better, some people and some things will not be able to trod. 

I was frustrated, so I needed another workout. I hit the Zumba class with my friend Olivia. It was ultra fun.   Here is a pic of us with our Zumba instructor!

I really appreciate Liv, after the class we sat in the car and talked about life.....you always need a friend who is willing to listen and offer advice! So with the advice that was given, I've decided to be selfish in my time of becoming a better me....doing for me, caring for me, loving me.  No relationships,  no men, especially if they aren't compatible with the woman that I strive to be! 

After our talk I was compelled to hit the gym again! Yes ladies and gentlemen, 3 workouts in one day.

Day 15 .... Time to step it up! Weigh in #3

Yesterday was guilt free Sunday and the first day without exercising.  I can honestly say I felt horrible lol.....so I had to start this Monday off correctly WITH A BODE SHAKE!


1 scoop of  Vanilla Bode
1 cup of skim milk
1 cup of water (I like it thin)
1 banana

The best breakfast ever, especially right before an intense wotkout!

5 MINS warmup (Arc Trainer)

15 MINS intervals (30 sec sprint, 60 sec jog, 30 sec sprint, 60 sec jog, etc) (Arc Trainer)

50 jumping Jacks
40 crunches
40 squats
40 leg lifts
30 jumping Jacks
20 bicycle crunches
20 squats
30 leg lifts

10 MINS interval on treadmill (30 sec jog at 5.5, 60 sec walk at 3.0, 30 sec jog at 5.5, 60 sec walk at 3.0, etc)

3 sets of leg press
3 sets of front lunges

10 MINS on the elliptical machine
10 MINS on stationary bike

Apppppppparently I had a ton of energy this morning....but I love to sweat,  it means I'm doing something lol

Day 11... (Stay Determined)

Hey everyone it's day 11.....I definitely worked out yesterday, I was just to busy to blog! SORRY..... but today I was sooooooooo tired because my sleep was broken last night! However I still pressed my way!

Thank God for Verve and my determination for keeping me going today! Shots out to BK for his amazingness!

Day 9 (Confidence)

Confidence seems to be a major issue with a lot of overweight people...it doesn't matter if you are 10, 25, 200 pounds overweight. ...you are BEAUTIFULLove yourself unconditionally! Don't be ashamed of what you have, God gave you curves.....you were blessed with more haha!

I am extremely confident....I love myself, I just loved myself enough to be healthy! 

Day 9 was fantastic.....I worked out alone today but I definitely got some great leg work in!

Day 7 (Guilt Free Day)

Today was amazing,  I live for Sundays!!!! I went to church with my family and I looked and felt great. ...not to mention that every 7 days on the Bode 12 week Transformation Challenge is GUILT FREE DAY!!!!


MUSIC to my ears and GLORY to my cravings ahahaha. I had a donut for breakfast,  and soul food for lunch!!!!

BUT THEN I WORKED MY BUTT OFF AT THE GYM!
